TEHRAN The first computerized socks producing machine has been manufactured in Iran by an innovator, Mohammadreza Ranjbar Behrouz.

The computerized socks producing machine, which is automatic and computer controlled, is designed and manufactured by Ranjbar Behrouz, who is currently working with the Iranian Scientific and Industrial Research Institute.

The computerized machine is said to be equipped with electronic testers, checking string-cutting and size-indicating units and also controlling the machine's speed. The machine is automatically turned off once the string is torn, or when the needle is broken. The reason for the stoppage is indicated. These are some of the advantages of the electronic tester.

The computerized socks producing machine is designed for producing various kinds of socks and stockings for men, women, children and also for sports.

The machine is able to weave four colors into the main base color and create a variety in color design.

The hourly production capacity of the machine is 12 pairs of children's socks (using 120-needled cylinder), 11 pairs of large children's socks (using 132-needled cylinder), 10 pairs of children's socks (using 144-needled cylinder), and 8 pairs of socks (using 156-needled and 168-needled cylinders and cylinders with more needles).

The special feature of the indicated machine compared to its foreign equivalent is the special facilities provided for repair and spare parts replacement.

This machine has a high efficiency and capability, and there is no limit on design, thus any desired design may be executed in the shortest possible time.

Unlike its foreign equivalents, the operation of which needs expertise and knowledge of foreign languages, the signs and script in Persian makes the operation of the machine under question quite easy.

The Machine's needle-counting range varies within 96-220 needles, and its graphic design is made according to the JBM 386 computer system.
